I usually read and consult the “Headlines” section on David Ickes’ website everyday with my morning chai to check out new postings and catch bits and pieces of news I normally would not have picked up on. It’s a pretty good spot since it has referred me to other websites and some truly great blogs out there as well.
Yesterday, there was an article posted entitled, “Of The Coming Mass Awakening” by Dr. Joseph Chiappalone. It’s a fantastic article which coincidentally hit the mark of what me, and several other friends have been feeling and experiencing of late and not unlike the great posts which Zen Gardner regularly puts up as well.
It boils down to this:
When is this bloody veil going to be lifted?
Gnostics and Theosophists have written and discussed about this idea of “Isis Unveiled” for years now. (No, it has nothing to do with some lewd image of a woman suddenly running around naked like Anastasia of Russia in the Ringing Cedars books.)
It’s about what the Hindus call “Maya”, this illusory world we live in and seeing past it or through it to the deeper reality underneath it all.
We’ve read all the books, watched all the YouTube videos and listened to all the speakers. It’s unanimous at this point among the spiritual, esoteric, conspiracy theory set that unless a drastic shift in consciousness or some powerful third-party intervention takes place like a runaway meteor hitting Earth or something of the sort, we’re pretty much up shit creek without a paddle if things continue as they are. To quote noted environmentalist David Suzuki, “We’re in a giant car heading towards a brick wall and everyone is arguing over where they’re going to sit”

I know this has happened many times in the past, it may happen again in the future, I’m just not sure we’re going to be around for another hit.
I do think the malaise runs deeper than that. Many people understand and more importantly feel that this is a false reality we’re living in and can’t wait for the moment the whole thing is finally unplugged and all those old constructs , old formulas and old illusions which The Powers That Be (TPTB) have been feeding us and filling our heads with come crashing down harder than the statues of Lenin when the Soviet system collapsed.
I feel sorry for those folks from the 1960s who have been waiting around for the Age of Aquarius. I can’t say I wouldn’t understand why some of them are now cynical. I probably would be too.
I don’t speak for many but I’m personally at that point where it’s enough already, just do it and get it over with so we can get on with it as well.

As someone who has been around since the sixties, I’m not cynical, but I am sceptical. I like Zen Gardner, too, but his “signs of awakening”, while valid enough, are really signs of internet awakening. We’re lucky to have access to sites like his and David Icke’s, which is where I went to find out the facts about 9/11. Here we are at another 9/11 anniversary and as many as 50 percent of the people still believe the bs about it. The 50 percent or more who don’t believe it just vent their frustration online. While “exposing the truth” (another sometimes interesting site) is great, none of us really does anything about it. In the sixties, the bulk of us only took action because we were threatened by the draft. Take the draft away and it’s back to “doing your own thing” and letting the powers that be do theirs. As long as they can keep us complacent, we’ll let them tighten the noose. When will change occur? When enough of us are hungry enough to make it occur. Will it be a change for the better? That depends on us, doesn’t it?
I thought with Occupy Wall Street and the demonstrations in Montreal, Greece, Spain etc. maybe it would have woken more people up out of their comatose haze. The fact is, people are attached to their comfort and will do nothing if it might mean that their perceived and entitled sense of comfort is somehow decreased or taken away. That’s the illusion right there. That’s exactly where “The System” got people. It made them addicted to comfort and convenience and now the human animal is in a position where it has habituated itself to it and will not be able to wean itself off…unless forced to.
I think it will be either world war or the looming oil crunch which are going to get people to fight back. When oil prices start to rocket, driving the prices of essentials like shelter and food, that’s when people are going to take to the streets en masse, I think. I mean look at the majority of activists and draft dodgers and conscientious objectors from the 60′s (present company excluded), the boomers, after the demonstrations, they all went home and became yuppies and became wealthy industrialists and suburbanites like the guys at Ben and Jerry’s. They joined and even strengthened the very system they were fighting against.
I read in one of Aivanhov’s books that too much comfort is actually harmful to us, both physically and psychically. That some discomfort is actually good for us because it strengthens us, our immune systems and forces us to grow. Might explain why chi-chi spas and luxery hotels somehow always made me feel nauseous, literally. Too clinical, sanitized and…unnatural, a completely artificial environment. My idea of hell is a place like Las Vegas.
50 years of enlightenment training and…. How many “realized beings” do we know of?
How many gurus have to fall in disgrace before the new age rhetoric begins to sound hollow ?
There are two schools of thought here:
A) one school says that the gurus/prophets/seers are there to impart teachings which we then, as individuals, need to put into practice which then helps us to “unveil” Isis.
B) the other school of thought says that there is an external force at work, truth vibrations, the Galactic center, planet Nibiru etc. which is inducing this change of consciousness and awareness
I don’t have much faith in A, even if very few individuals become enlightened. As for B, the biggest question here is when and how?
I have done a little reading on the Gaia Sophia gnostic mythos and it pretty much centers on the wisdom goddess waking up from her dream, which is basically our reality, she is to do this with the help of humanity, who co star in her lucid dream. TPTB would be the archons in this sense, known as the greys, reptilians… spiritual wickedness in high places etc
Seems that even goddesses dream… do they wake up. Sure they do – we do when we sleep. Considering Sophia is galactic in size and power and a day to us is like an aeon to her lets hope she has been sleeping a billion years and is about to open her eyes. The gnostics also believed that Sophia would manifest as a human when the time was right, that her own personal unveiling would be through that person, and that this would be the catalyst to start the chain reaction to end the lucid nightmare.
Just some thoughts
Whoever she is, I hope she wakes up soon. I personally don’t have much faith in stories of messiah-like figures waking up and leading the charge for humanity, TPTB would be on top of them in a second. It’s either humanity REALLY waking up (which I don’t think is going to happen either for aforementioned reasons) or some yet-not-understood-or-detected third party influence or event which acts as a catalyst which gets things going. Like I wrote earlier, the biggest hurdle here to get people past their fear, of getting past their constant clinging to comfort and perceived entitlement to financial abundance.
For this world to survive, I think, the next few generations will have to become the generations of sacrifice to undo the damage of the “Me”-generations and take on those roles in earnest to fight TPTB, people who are willingly give up comfort and learn to live along the lines of “need” vs. “want”. Unfortunately, that’s neither glamorous not wanted…and a deeply unpopular position to take in a capitalistic, market-oriented system.
I think the great awakening is an Illuminati trick that has effectively pacified new agers while they have transfered the wealth over the past 10 years.
I think, according to the Gnostics, “she” was a metaphor for a universal feminine principle, I don’t think the manifestation of her wisdom within humanity is supposed to bear a Messiah-like figurehead, but rather cause a ripple from a single drop of true understanding. It only takes one domino to fall in order to start a chain reaction, likewise it only takes one pole to flip it’s polarity in a sea of negativity to turn the ocean upside down in a positive way.
Even If I am a minority of one, truth is still the truth – Gandhi
